What is JB CAST?
JB CAST is a desktop publishing and content operations application by Jalsha Bangla for managing authorized content preparation, scheduling, publishing, publishing records, and supported platform analytics.
Supported platform integrations may include YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, subject to each platform’s permissions, app-review requirements, account eligibility, API availability, quotas, and regional restrictions. JB CAST is an independent product of Jalsha Bangla and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Google, YouTube, Meta, Facebook, or TikTok.

Availability is governed by the applicable provider permissions, approval state, API contract and account eligibility.
YouTube
When enabled and authorized, JB CAST may identify the authorized channel, upload user-selected content, manage supported upload metadata, perform supported playlist/caption operations, and retrieve supported analytics or statistics.
Subject to provider permissions, API availability, quota and approval requirements.Facebook / Meta
Where Meta permissions and production access are approved, JB CAST may identify available Pages, bind the selected publishing destination, perform supported Page/video/Reel publishing, and retrieve supported engagement or insight information.
Unsupported or unapproved Meta capabilities remain disabled.TikTok
Where TikTok permissions and Content Posting access are approved, JB CAST may identify the authorized creator, retrieve supported Creator Info, present provider-supported privacy and interaction choices, submit user-approved content, and retrieve supported post information or analytics.

How Platform Connections Work
JB CAST uses official authorization mechanisms and supported APIs for provider connections. Users do not provide JB CAST with their YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok password.
- The provider presents its own authorization or permission flow.
- The user reviews the permissions being requested.
- The provider returns authorized access to JB CAST.
- JB CAST binds that access to the exact authorized destination.
- The user remains in control of publishing actions.
- In the production version, access is designed to be disconnectable or revocable where supported.
JB CAST requests only access needed for enabled user-facing features. Some permissions or publishing functions may remain unavailable until the applicable platform has approved the required access.
LOCAL-FIRST
Local-First by Design
JB CAST is designed as a local-first desktop application. Core workspace information, Queue and Schedule state, Publishing Ledger records, settings, and supported analytics history are primarily stored on the user’s device.
JB CAST does not create a separate Jalsha Bangla cloud archive of the user’s source media merely for ordinary application operation. When the user authorizes publishing, selected media may be transmitted to the chosen platform as necessary to perform that publishing action.
Some provider integrations may require a secure server-side component for confidential OAuth or token operations. Such services are limited to the functions necessary for the approved provider integration.

- JB CAST does not silently reuse disconnected credentials.
- Unsupported provider capabilities remain blocked rather than simulated.
